Getting there:
By Road:
The A69 from Carlisle or Newcastle bypasses the town. Follow signs for the Town Centre. St. Martin’s is on the road junctions near the town centre, where the Longtown road meets the Main street.
Parking:
Small amount of space beside the church, either in its own yard or the adjacent blocked off road section.
By Rail:
The walk from the railway station (Brampton Junction) is quite long (2.5 miles), so this is hardly a practical option. In earlier times there was a short railway link to the town centre from the station.
Access:
A short flight of stairs on the right of the porch leads to the ringing room.
Toilets:
None at the church.
